Hope and Opportunity Scholarship Fund – Through a generous donation by The Carney Family, the Hope & Opportunity scholarship provides low-income students with up to $2,000 to attend a Catholic elementary or middle school in the Taunton, New Bedford, or Fall River area. To qualify, a family must be at or below the Title 1 poverty level as determined by the state and attend a Catholic school in Taunton, Fall River or New Bedford. Donors can make gifts to continue to grow this fund for now and into the future.
Catholic School Teacher’s Salary Initiative – Adequate compensation for teachers in our Catholic Schools is critically important to the success of our students and the schools. The Catholic Schools Board continues to examine the need for fair and competitive wages. A special fund has been developed to help aid the Diocese in raising salaries for those who educate and care for our students.
