Named Endowed Scholarship
An endowed scholarship can be established with a minimum commitment of $50,000. Because the gift amount is restricted and will remain in perpetuity, only the revenue from the endowment supports annual scholarships. The donor may designate which type of student he/she would like to support; i.e. from a single parent home, of a certain ethnic group, a student in a specific school of the Diocese etc.
General Endowment
A general endowment can be established with a minimum commitment of $10,000. Because the gift amount is restricted and will remain in perpetuity, only the revenue from the endowment can support a parish, school or various other ministries and programs.
